Greya, a 20 year old artist from Philadelphia, was born premature... and deaf. Regaining her hearing as a young child she fell in love with singers like Etta James and Amy Winehouse and quickly committed to music, training intensely as a vocalist from the age of 9 and writing dozens of songs.
Her efforts lead her to collaborators including Sacha Skarbek (Adele, Lana Del Ray), Jasper Leak (Sia), Flo Reuter (Sigrid) and many others.
Her fondest memories come from summers in Maine and, beginning in the fall of 2018, she chose a similarly remote local to record free of distraction on a farm studio outside of Charlottesville, Va.
She emerged with a collection of songs that find her powerful, soulful vocals supported by highly dynamic tracks of live instrumentation, swirling programmed beats, choral voices, synths and strings.
In performances over the last year at events ranging from SXSW to the Cannes Film Festival, Greya has proven she can deliver live as well.
